The Tamalex Charitable Foundation was created in 2010 by Jewish entrepreneur Leon Barbash with the aim of supporting groundbreaking initiatives in the arts and culture, as well as educational and charitable activities with a special focus on Jewish life. Since then the foundation has supported dozens of groundbreaking projects in Eastern Europe and beyond.

OUR MISSION
The Tamalex Foundation is committed to supporting artists, authors and charitable organizations worldwide who would not be able to realize their critical projects without targeted financial backing.
The Foundation’s arts and cultural projects range from book publishing to fine art and film production. We aim to support work that raises awareness of key issues of the day and have a special interest in authors and creators furthering Jewish learning and building community worldwide.
We are also incredibly proud of the work we have done to support young people, the elderly and the disabled from disadvantaged backgrounds. Aiming to address issues like food scarcity and access to medicine, we are committed to backing international charitable organizations who provide crucial support to vulnerable members of the Jewish community and beyond.
